Post by Danny1992 » Fri Mar 12, 2021 12:36 am

Hi everyone, I'm currently having trouble finding the Windows 10 driver for my Yamaha P 125 keyboard. I've been searching on the official Yamaha website, various driver download websites, and even checked the Windows device manager but still couldn't find a suitable driver. Could someone please provide me with a direct link to download the driver? I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks in advance!

Specification of the Yamaha P 125:

- 88-key weighted digital piano with touch sensitivity and multiple piano sounds
- Comes with built-in speakers and headphone jack for private practice
- USB connectivity for easy connection to computers and compatible devices
- Includes a sustain pedal and music rest for convenience during performances
- Compatible with Windows 10 operating system
- Compact and portable design, suitable for both home and on-the-go use
- Offers various additional features such as metronome, transpose, and recording capabilities

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Question: Why is there no sound coming from my Yamaha P 125?
Answer: Firstly, ensure that the volume of the piano is turned up. If there is still no sound, check if the headphones or external speakers are properly connected. If using headphones, try a different pair to rule out any issues with the headphones themselves. Also, confirm that the keyboard is not muted or set to a very low volume. Check the audio settings on both the piano and your Windows 10 device, ensuring that the correct audio output is selected.

2. Question: The keys on my Yamaha P 125 feel unresponsive. What could be the issue?
Answer: If the keys feel unresponsive, it is possible that the touch sensitivity settings are not configured correctly. On the piano, navigate to the touch sensitivity settings and adjust them according to your preference. Ensure that you are applying sufficient pressure to the keys while playing, as very light touches may not trigger the sound. If the issue persists, try resetting the touch sensitivity settings to default or consult the user manual for further troubleshooting steps.

3. Question: How do I connect my Yamaha P 125 to my Windows 10 computer?
Answer: To connect the Yamaha P 125 to a Windows 10 computer, use a USB cable (usually Type B to Type A) to connect the USB TO HOST port on the back of the piano to a USB port on your computer. Once connected, the Windows 10 operating system should automatically recognize the keyboard and install the necessary drivers. In case the driver installation does not occur automatically, visit the Yamaha website to download and install the appropriate driver software for the P 125 model.
