Windows Surface Mouse Driver

Post by Henny96 » Sat Feb 27, 2021 4:17 am

Hi everyone,
I recently purchased a Windows Surface Mouse, but unfortunately, I seem to have misplaced the driver CD that came with it. I've been searching online for the driver, but so far, I haven't been able to find a reliable source to download it from. I have visited the official Microsoft website, the Windows Device Manager, and even tried a few third-party driver websites, but no luck so far. Could someone please provide me with a direct download link to the Windows Surface Mouse driver? I would really appreciate any help in this matter. Thanks in advance!

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:
1. Question: Why is my Windows Surface Mouse not connecting to my computer?
Answer: Please ensure that your computer's Bluetooth is turned on and in pairing mode. Also, ensure that there are no other Bluetooth devices interfering with the connection. Try restarting both your computer and the mouse, then attempt to pair them again.

2. Question: The cursor movement is erratic and jumpy with my Windows Surface Mouse. How can I fix this issue?
Answer: Ensure that the mouse is being used on a clean and smooth surface. Optical mice can sometimes have trouble tracking on reflective or uneven surfaces. Additionally, check the mouse's battery level. If low, replace with fresh batteries or recharge if the mouse supports it.

3. Question: The scroll wheel on my Windows Surface Mouse is not working. What steps should I take to resolve this issue?
Answer: Start by confirming that the scroll wheel is not physically stuck or obstructed by any debris. Clean the scroll wheel using compressed air or gently swipe a soft, lint-free cloth around the area. If the problem persists, go to the device manager, uninstall the mouse driver, and then restart your computer. This will prompt the installation of the latest driver for the mouse, possibly resolving any software-related issues.
