Windows 10 No Keyboard Driver

Post by Ricky89 » Sat Apr 17, 2021 10:10 pm

Hi everyone, I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and noticed that my keyboard doesn't seem to be functioning properly. After doing some troubleshooting, I realized that I might need to update the keyboard driver. However, when I tried searching for it on the manufacturer's website, I couldn't find a specific driver for Windows 10. I also tried the Windows Update feature, but it didn't detect any available updates for the keyboard driver. Could someone please provide me with a reliable source/link where I can download the appropriate keyboard driver for Windows 10? I would greatly appreciate any help or suggestions. Thanks in advance!

The device in question is a Windows 10 compatible device that lacks a keyboard driver. It is capable of receiving input from the user via other input methods, such as a touch screen, mouse, or external keyboard, but does not have a specific driver installed for a built-in keyboard.

Specifications:

- Operating System: Windows 10
- Input Methods: Touch screen, mouse, external keyboard
- Output: Displayed information on the screen

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Q: Why is my device's built-in keyboard not working?
A: Since this device lacks a built-in keyboard driver, the built-in keyboard will not function. You can use alternative input methods like a touch screen or connect an external keyboard with its driver installed.

2. Q: How can I enable the built-in keyboard on my Windows 10 device?
A: Unfortunately, as this device does not have a built-in keyboard driver, enabling the built-in keyboard is not possible. However, you can connect an external keyboard or use alternative input methods like a touch screen or mouse.

3. Q: Is it possible to install a keyboard driver for the built-in keyboard on this device?
A: As the device lacks a built-in keyboard driver, it is not possible to install one specifically for the built-in keyboard. However, connecting an external keyboard would allow you to use a keyboard driver associated with that external device.
