Windows 10 Display Driver Failed To Start Using Basic

Post by Torrie » Wed Apr 28, 2021 12:48 am

Hi everyone,

I'm currently facing an issue on my Windows 10 where the display driver has failed to start and is instead using the basic driver. This is resulting in poor graphics performance and limited functionality. I have tried troubleshooting the issue by updating the driver through the Device Manager, but it says that the best driver is already installed.

I have also checked the manufacturer's website for my graphics card, but they only provide a general driver package that doesn't seem to address my specific issue. Additionally, I've searched various online forums and driver update websites for a specific driver link, but haven't had any luck so far.

Could someone please assist me in finding a proper driver link or suggest any other troubleshooting steps that might help resolve this issue? Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you in advance.
