Touch Screen Laptop Driver Windows 10

Post by Belle93 » Mon May 10, 2021 9:26 am

I recently upgraded my laptop to Windows 10 and I am having trouble finding the appropriate driver for my touch screen. I have searched extensively on the manufacturer's website and even tried using Windows Update, but to no avail. Can someone please provide me with a direct download link for the touch screen driver compatible with Windows 10? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated!

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Q: Why is the touch screen on my laptop not responding?
A: There could be several reasons for this issue. First, ensure that the touch screen is clean and not obstructed by any dirt or debris. If that's not the case, check if the touch screen driver is properly installed and up to date. Restarting the laptop or performing a driver update might help resolve the problem.

2. Q: How do I enable or disable the touch screen feature on my laptop?
A: To enable or disable the touch screen on a Windows 10 laptop, follow these steps:
1. Open the "Device Manager" by pressing the Windows key + X and selecting "Device Manager" from the menu.
2. Expand the "Human Interface Devices" section.
3. Look for a category related to the touch screen, which might be labeled as "HID-compliant touch screen" or similar.
4. Right-click on the touch screen device and choose "Enable" or "Disable" based on your preference.

3. Q: My touch screen works, but the accuracy is off. What can I do?
A: If the touch screen's accuracy is affected, you can try calibrating it to improve its responsiveness. Here's how you can calibrate the touch screen on a Windows 10 laptop:
1. Open the "Control Panel" by searching for it in the Start menu.
2. In the Control Panel, select "Hardware and Sound" and then click on "Tablet PC Settings."
3. Under the "Display" tab, click on "Setup" in the "Configure your pen and touch displays" section.
4. Follow the calibration instructions provided on the screen, which involve tapping specific points accurately.
5. Once the calibration process is complete, click on "Apply" and then exit the settings.
