Microsoft Basic Display Adapter Driver Windows 10 Nvidia

Post by Margie » Sun Apr 04, 2021 11:39 pm

I recently updated my computer to Windows 10 and noticed that my display is now using the Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver instead of the Nvidia driver that was previously installed. I've been searching online for the Nvidia driver for Windows 10, but I can't seem to find a reliable source to download it from. Can someone please provide me with a direct link to download the Nvidia driver for Windows 10? I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Q: Why is my Lenovo U410 not turning on?
A: There could be a few reasons for this issue. First, ensure that the battery is charged or connect the laptop to a power source. If it still doesn't turn on, try a power reset by removing the battery and adapter, then holding the power button for 15 seconds before reconnecting and attempting to power it on. If the problem persists, it could be a hardware issue and it's recommended to contact Lenovo support.

2. Q: My Lenovo U410 is overheating. What should I do?
A: Overheating can be caused by various factors such as dust accumulation, blocked vents, or heavy system load. To address this issue, make sure the laptop is placed on a hard, flat surface to allow proper airflow. Clean the vents using compressed air to remove any dust particles. Additionally, reducing the system load by closing unnecessary programs or processes can help alleviate overheating. If the problem persists, it might be necessary to check the cooling system or contact Lenovo support for further assistance.

3. Q: The sound on my Lenovo U410 is not working. How can I fix it?
A: If you are experiencing no sound output from your Lenovo U410, start by checking if the volume is muted or turned down. Additionally, ensure that the correct audio output device is selected in the Windows sound settings. If the issue persists, try updating the audio drivers by visiting the Lenovo support website and downloading the latest drivers for your specific model. If all else fails, there could be a hardware problem with the speakers, and it's recommended to seek professional assistance.
