Post by Barbie » Sat May 15, 2021 4:46 pm

I have been searching for the driver for Wifi on my Toshiba Satellite C660 running Windows XP, but unfortunately, I am unable to find it anywhere. I have already tried searching on the official Toshiba website, as well as various driver update websites, but to no avail. Could someone please provide me with a direct link to download the driver? I would greatly appreciate any help in resolving this issue.

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Q: Why is my Wifi not working on my Toshiba Satellite C660?
A: There can be several reasons for Wifi connectivity issues. Start by checking if the Wifi switch (if available) on your laptop is turned on. Ensure that the Wifi driver is installed and up to date. Also, try restarting your router and the laptop. If the problem persists, consider disabling and re-enabling the Wifi connection, or contacting Toshiba support for further assistance.

2. Q: My Toshiba Satellite C660 does not detect any available Wifi networks. What should I do?
A: Firstly, make sure that your Wifi is enabled by pressing the Wifi button (if applicable) and verifying that the Wifi indicator light is on. Also, check if other devices can detect Wifi networks, as this could indicate an issue with your router or network. Restarting your laptop and router might help resolve the problem. Additionally, updating the Wifi driver or reinstalling it could potentially solve the issue.

3. Q: After installing a new driver for Wifi on my Toshiba Satellite C660, I am experiencing unstable or slow connection. How can I fix this?
A: If the new Wifi driver has caused connectivity issues, try rolling back the driver to a previous version. This can be done by going to the Device Manager, selecting the Wifi adapter, choosing "Properties", and navigating to the "Driver" tab. Click on "Roll Back Driver" if available. If the issue persists, check if there are any available updates for the driver and install them. Additionally, try adjusting the Wifi antenna's position or relocating closer to the router to improve signal strength.
