Post by Marge1993 » Wed Apr 14, 2021 3:15 am

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble finding the driver for the touchpad on my LG R480 laptop running Windows 7. I've searched extensively on the LG website, but I couldn't find anything specific to my model. I also tried various driver download websites, but unfortunately, no luck so far.

I was just wondering if anyone here could possibly provide me with a direct link to download the touchpad driver for the LG R480 on Windows 7. I would greatly appreciate any assistance or guidance in getting this driver installed correctly.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Question: Why is the touchpad on my LG R480 not responding?
Answer: There could be several reasons for a non-responsive touchpad. First, ensure that the touchpad is not accidentally disabled by pressing the function key combination for the touchpad (usually Fn + F7 on LG laptops). If that doesn't solve the issue, try reinstalling the touchpad driver or updating it to the latest version. Also, make sure that the touchpad surface is clean and free from any obstructions.

2. Question: How can I adjust the sensitivity of the touchpad on my LG R480?
Answer: To adjust the touchpad sensitivity, locate the touchpad settings in the Windows Control Panel. Open the Control Panel and navigate to the "Mouse" or "Touchpad" settings. Within these settings, you should find an option to adjust the touchpad sensitivity. You may need to experiment with different sensitivity levels to find the one that suits your needs.

3. Question: The touchpad scroll feature is not working on my LG R480. What should I do?
Answer: If the touchpad scrolling is not working, check if it is enabled in the touchpad settings. Open the Control Panel and go to the "Mouse" or "Touchpad" settings. Look for an option related to scrolling, such as "Scrolling" or "Gestures," and ensure it is enabled. If it is already enabled and not functioning, try updating or reinstalling the touchpad driver. Additionally, certain programs or applications may have settings that interfere with touchpad scrolling, so confirming their settings may also help resolve the issue.
