Driver Touchpad Lenovo G480 Windows 7

Post by Ollie1994 » Thu Apr 15, 2021 1:07 pm

I am having trouble finding the driver for the touchpad on my Lenovo G480 laptop running Windows 7. I have searched on the official Lenovo website, but the available drivers do not seem to include the touchpad driver specifically for Windows 7. I also tried checking on other driver download websites, but I couldn't find a compatible driver either. Can someone please provide me with a link to download the correct touchpad driver for my Lenovo G480 running Windows 7? Thank you in advance for your help!

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

Q1: My touchpad on the Lenovo G480 is not responding. What should I do?
A1: Firstly, ensure that the touchpad is enabled by pressing the designated function key (Fn) along with the touchpad toggle key (usually F6). If it doesn't work, go to the Device Manager, locate the touchpad driver, and update or reinstall it if necessary.

Q2: Why does my Lenovo G480 freeze or lag frequently?
A2: Frequent freezing or lagging issues can be caused by various factors. Start by checking for any resource-intensive applications running in the background and close them. Ensure that your device has sufficient free storage space and run a disk cleanup. Additionally, updating your drivers, disabling unnecessary startup programs, and performing a malware scan can also help resolve this issue.

Q3: My Lenovo G480 is not connecting to Wi-Fi. What should I check?
A3: If your device is not connecting to Wi-Fi, try the following troubleshooting steps: Make sure the Wi-Fi function is turned on by either pressing the Wi-Fi toggle button on the laptop or using the dedicated function key combination. Verify that the Wi-Fi network you are trying to connect to is available and check if other devices can connect to it. If the issue persists, update the wireless adapter driver in the Device Manager or try restarting your router.
