Driver Hp Windows 10 Touchpad

Post by Margie » Mon Apr 19, 2021 9:57 pm

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my HP laptop and my touchpad is not working. I suspect that I need to update the touchpad driver. I have searched on the HP website and also tried the Windows update but couldn't find the appropriate driver for my touchpad. Can someone please provide me with the direct download link for the touchpad driver for HP laptops running Windows 10? I would greatly appreciate your help.

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:
1. Q: Why is my AMD HD 7400M GPU not recognized by my computer?
A: There could be a few potential reasons for this issue. First, ensure that the GPU is properly seated in the PCI Express slot. Additionally, make sure you have installed the latest drivers for the GPU from AMD's official website. If the problem persists, it might indicate a hardware malfunction, and contacting AMD support or your computer manufacturer for further assistance would be recommended.

2. Q: Why is my AMD HD 7400M GPU overheating during gaming or heavy usage?
A: GPU overheating can occur due to inadequate cooling or a build-up of dust in the cooling system. Ensure that the GPU's fan and heat sink are clean and free from dust. Consider using compressed air to blow out any accumulated debris. If the issue persists, check if the GPU's fan is functioning correctly or consider upgrading the cooling system by adding additional case fans or installing an aftermarket GPU cooler.

3. Q: My AMD HD 7400M GPU is displaying graphical artifacts on the screen. What could be the cause?
A: Graphical artifacts can indicate a problem with either the GPU or the graphics drivers. Start by updating the GPU drivers to the latest version from the AMD website. If the issue persists, try reducing the graphics settings in the games or applications you are using to see if that helps. If the problem continues, it might indicate a hardware issue, and contacting AMD support or your computer manufacturer for further troubleshooting would be recommended.
