I recently performed a clean installation of Windows 7 64-bit on my Acer laptop, but I am unable to locate the driver for my Synaptics touchpad. I have already tried searching on the Acer website by entering my laptop model number, but the drivers listed there do not seem to include the touchpad driver. I have also searched on the Synaptics website without any luck. Could someone please provide a direct download link to the Synaptics Touchpad driver for Windows 7 64-bit compatible with Acer laptops? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

If a yellow exclamation mark is present, it could indicate a driver issue. Try updating or reinstalling the driver.

A: Firstly, make sure that the Synaptics Touchpad Driver is installed correctly. You can access the touchpad settings by right-clicking on the desktop and selecting "Personalize." In the window that opens, choose "Change mouse pointers" from the left sidebar. In the Mouse Properties dialog, navigate to the "Device Settings" or "Touchpad" tab (depending on your system). Enable gestures or customize them according to your preference.

3. Q: The touchpad on my Acer laptop is freezing intermittently. What should I do?
A: Start by making sure that the touchpad is clean and free from any debris that may interfere with its operation. If the issue persists, try adjusting the touchpad sensitivity.
