Nvidia Driver Not Downloading

Post by Belle93 »

I'm having trouble downloading the latest Nvidia driver for my graphics card. I've tried searching for it on the Nvidia website but I couldn't find a direct link for the driver. I have a GeForce GTX 1660 Ti and I'm currently running Windows 10. Can someone please provide me with a reliable link to download the driver? I want to make sure I have the most up-to-date driver to optimize my gaming experience. Thank you in advance for any assistance!

Q1: Why is my Nvidia driver not downloading?
A1: There could be various reasons for this issue. Please ensure that you have a stable internet connection and sufficient disk space. Additionally, check if your firewall or antivirus software is blocking the download. Restarting your computer and trying a different web browser may also help resolve the problem.

Q2: What should I do if the Nvidia driver installation fails?
A2: If the driver installation fails, make sure to follow these steps: uninstall any previously installed Nvidia drivers, restart the computer, download the latest driver version from the official Nvidia website, run the installer as administrator, and follow the on-screen instructions. If the problem persists, try using the DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) utility to completely remove the existing driver before reinstalling.

Q3: My computer displays an error message stating "Nvidia driver is not compatible with this version of Windows." How can I fix this?
A3: If you encounter this error message, it is likely that the Nvidia driver version you are trying to install is not compatible with your operating system. Visit the official Nvidia website and select the correct driver version for your Windows version (e.g., Windows 10 64-bit). Make sure to download and install the appropriate driver to resolve the compatibility issue.
