Restart Sound Driver Windows 10

Post by Sully1991 »

I recently restarted my Windows 10 computer and now I am having issues with my sound driver. The sound is no longer working and when I go to Device Manager, I see a yellow exclamation mark next to my sound driver. I've tried troubleshooting the problem using the built-in Windows troubleshooter, but it couldn't fix the issue. I also tried uninstalling the driver and restarting my computer in hopes that it would re-install automatically, but that didn't work either. I can't seem to find a reliable source to download and install the sound driver manually. Could someone please provide me with a direct download link for the latest sound driver for Windows 10? I would greatly appreciate any help.

Check the volume settings and make sure they are not muted or set too low. Additionally, inspect the physical connections between your audio device and the computer, ensuring they are properly connected.

Q2: How do I fix distorted or crackling sound while using the Windows 10 sound driver?
A2: Distorted or crackling sound can occur due to various factors. Start by checking if the audio cables are securely connected.
