Control Center 4 Brother Scanner

Post by Hannah »

I recently updated my operating system to Windows 10 and realized that my Brother scanner is no longer working. I suspect that the issue might be due to outdated drivers. I have searched on the official Brother website and several other driver update websites, but I couldn't find a specific driver for the Control Center 4 scanner software that is compatible with Windows 10. Could anyone please provide a direct link to download the latest driver for the Control Center 4 Brother scanner software for Windows 10? I would greatly appreciate any assistance.

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Q: Why is my Control Center 4 scanner not being recognized by my computer?
A: Please ensure that the scanner is properly connected to your computer via the USB cable. Try using a different USB port or cable. You may also need to install the appropriate drivers and software for your operating system from the Brother website.

2. Q: I'm getting distorted or fuzzy scans with my Brother Control Center 4 scanner. What could be the issue?
A: Check if there are any smudges or dirt on the scanner glass. Clean the glass using a soft, lint-free cloth and a mild glass cleaner if necessary. Additionally, make sure the documents you are scanning are properly aligned and placed flat against the glass.

3. Q: Why does my Control Center 4 scanner produce blank scans even after placing documents on the glass?
A: Ensure that the scanner lid is closed properly while scanning. If the lid is not fully closed, it may result in blank scans. Also, check the scanner settings in the Control Center 4 software. Make sure the scanning mode, resolution, and document type settings are appropriate for your requirements.
