Canon Lide 120 Driver

Post by Jamie1991 »

I recently purchased a Canon Lide 120 scanner and need to update the driver for it. I have searched on the Canon website and various other driver download websites, but I haven't been able to find a direct link to download the driver. Can someone please provide me with a reliable source or a direct download link for the Canon Lide 120 driver? I would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thank you!

Troubleshooting Questions and Answers:

1. Q: My Canon Lide 120 scanner is not being recognized by my computer. What should I do?
A: Firstly, ensure that the scanner is properly connected to your computer via the USB cable. If it is connected, try using a different USB port or cable to rule out any connectivity issues. Also, make sure you have installed the correct and up-to-date Canon Lide 120 driver for your operating system. Restarting both the scanner and the computer can help resolve recognition problems as well.

2. Q: The scanned images appear distorted or skewed. How can I fix this issue?
A: If you are experiencing image distortion or skewing, make sure that the original document is correctly placed on the glass surface of the scanner and aligned straight. Check for any smudges, dust, or scratches on the glass, as these can also contribute to distorted scans. Additionally, using the advanced scanning settings or calibration features in the scanner software can help optimize image quality.

3. Q: The scanner is not producing any output or the scans are completely black. What could be the problem?
A: If your scans are turning out completely black or the scanner is not producing any output, several factors might be causing this issue. Firstly, ensure that the scanner lid is closed properly during the scanning process. If the lid is open, it can result in improper exposure and black scans. Additionally, check the scanner settings in the software to ensure that the correct document type, color mode, and resolution are selected. Lastly, inspect the scanner glass for any dirt, smudges, or fibers that might obstruct the scanning process.
